Halloween is almost here

All these thoughts of haunting make me ponder if people will wander the internet like a walk among the tombstones.

Maybe they already are.

Like an abandoned cemetery tucked away in the trees, people stumble upon a forum grown over by time. A few words remain, but everyone is gone.

I found one such tombstone in the ground in Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge in Lousiana. I found several in the woods of a public park, just a few yards from the soccer fields in Russellville, Arkansas. This ARG will have a tombstone one day. Consider this a hint.

And so will we leave comments instead of flowers? I don't know, probably.

The world is changing, that is for sure. I just heard a middle-aged woman call her son bro. I'm middle-aged and I call my kids bro, too. And as fascinating as it is to contemplate what happens after, we should all make sure that we're broing with our bros when we can.

And so ashes to ashes, dust to dust, one day it'll all freeze or it'll all burn up. Live while you can, I guess you must, one day it will cease so there is no rush.

Until then.
